Editing a rubric comment that has been applied
If you try to edit a rubric comment that has already been applied, codePost will give you two choices.
Propagate your change to all existing instances of the rubric comment. For example, if you change the deduction associated with a rubric comment from 1 to 2, all submissions to which the rubric comment has been applied will lose an additional point if you choose this option (ignoring the potential impact of rubric category point limits).
Break the link between instances of the old rubric comment and the new rubric comment. Doing so will leave all previously graded submissions unchanged, but will no longer associate previously placed comments with the rubric comment. For example, if you change the deduction associated with a rubric comment from 1 to 2 and select this option, no existing submissions will change.
Editing a rubric category whose rubric comments have been applied
If you edit a rubric category by changing its point limit, the new point limit will be applied to all submissions to which rubric comments from this category have been applied. This includes any submissions marked as done, so tread carefully when modifying point limits after grading has begun.
