Maybe you want to hide an assignment from your course while developing it, or maybe you want to hide a pop quiz until students take in. In this article, we'll show you how.
How to hide an assignment
Any assignment that is not visible will be completely hidden from students in a course. You can toggle the visibility of an assignment from the Assignments Overview page of the Admin Console.
What students see when an assignment is visible
When an assignment is visible, students can see the name of the assignment.
If you've enabled student upload, then students can;
Submit code
View any automated tests you've exposed, and receive results from those tests if they submit
View any instructions you've written
If you don't want students to be able to submit to an assignment you've created, you must either disable student upload from your assignment settings or make the assignment invisible.
